A meet and greet function for our new participants to learn about the ARP from those who have already participated in the programme.
This is a chance for participants from the school, business, and community organisations, to learn about the ARP programme, get to know each other, hear about university student life, and take the fantastic walking tour through Christchurch CBD.
Staff involved in the ARP will undertake a five week course about the Maori language and culture.
Selected students in the ARP will practice the weekly Maori words and phrases to use in their school, surrounding businesses, and community organisations. They work alongside a fun and interactive mentor guide.
Students will have fun teaching their community weekly Maori words and phrases.
